View out of my bedroom
San Diego Padres
Don't get me wrong, I love California and the beautiful lifestyle I'e had the opportunity to be blessed with. But as I've grown older and am now attending school in Michigan, I can't help but notice that some people didn't get the memo that it's time to grow up. There is a difference between the people in California and Michigan and I'm thinking that though I'd miss my tan and the authentic mexican food, I'd be surrounded around people I've grown to love and wish I could've known them my whole life.
After today, I'm just ready to get on the plane an head to Australia and leave childish drama, disrespectful, immature, flaky, b*tchy and Fake people behind. Ya, I'm venting right now and no, it isn't the smartest idea to do it on the web, but if you're telling me you've never felt this about your friends and surrounding people, then you're either lying or you live in Michigan. It'll probably blow over by tomorrow, but the sad part is that it's not out of character for this to happen. Right now my days consist of working out in the morning, going to the beach, maybe beach volleyball and hanging out with friends/boyfriend or family later. This sounds perfect to me, but I'm starting to feel like I'm in the twilight zone a bit.

On a positive note I found out my teammate from college is moving to Australia in a couple days and we have plans to meet out there. I also have my cousin's graduation this weekend, the San Diego Fair is opening, I'll be sure to bungee jump and then the day before I leave, Switchfoot is performing at our beach all day after a surf contest. Hopefully, everything goes as exciting and fun as it sounds.

Love,

Me
