Catching Up

It's been a great few days and I'm excited it's going so well before I say good bye to San DIego for the rest of summer. This last Thursday I was invited by my best friend Aimee to go to the San Diego Padres' Baseball game at Petco Park vs. the Washington Nationals. Aimee, Kelsey and I drove to the game instead of taking the Coaster because Aimee's dad was able to get us free tickets and a parking pass right near the field. It was a ton of fun because the game was exciting, we saw some guy friends of ours down the third base line, we hung out with our good friend Connor Garrett and his whole family and we got on the big screen!!!

I also went mini golfing with my boyfriend Steven and OUR bestest bud Casey Connolly haha. I always had a good initial putt, but when I was within inches or so I just choked every time haha. Steven and Casey were funny to watch with how they examined each course, took their time and how they even brought their own real putters while I used a plastic one haha. Good news is that even though I lost miserably with quite a bit of shaving points, I did get the only hole in one of the night!! Yippee!!
 

 This weekend was capped off with some quality time spent up in Fresno with my mom to celebrate my cousin Gabe Duarte's High School Graduation. I drove the 6 hour drive (my mom won't drive on freeways) to Visalia where my grandma of 90 years had us stay at her place and we watched old western tv shows. The next day we drove to a Mexican restaurant in Fresno where we met family of ours that lives up North, friends of Gabe and ate some good food. It was a really nice chance to see the family and mingle over good food.

Tonight Steven and I are going to the San Diego County Fair, which will be Steven's first time ever there. I'm going to do the bungee jump even though I'm super scared haha. I can't wait to enjoy the food, rides, lights and just all around fun!!
